Each January Littleton holds a breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 - 1968). Organizers of the event have audiotape excerpts of King's speech, given at Grace Presbyterian Church on January 25, 1964, but would love to have some photos and movie clips also.

Since 1999 the City of Littleton and Arapahoe Community College's Diversity Council have co-sponsored the Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Celebration commemorating the civil rights leader's visit to Littleton. The general public is invited to attend this event.

Anyone with information about photos or movies of Dr. King's Littleton visit are asked to contact former Littleton Council for Human Relations Chair Ellie Greenberg (303-771-3560), Tammy Samuels, Arapahoe Community College (303-797-5949), or Lorena Donohue, Littleton Historical Museum (303-795-3950).
