Tom Rouen, Denver Broncos all-pro punter for ten years, grew up in Littleton. The former CU All-American was released by the Broncos mid-season in 2002, before ending up with the Seattle Seahawks. Rouen lives in Denver with his wife, former Olympic medalist swimmer Amy Van Dyken.

Colorado Rockies third baseman Vinny Castilla, returning to his team in 2004, has lived in Littleton, even after being traded away from the Rockies in 1999. Castilla originally joined the Rockies in 1993 and became part of the now-disbanded group of Rockies super sluggers known as “the Blake Street Bombers.”

In December 2003, Littleton High School swimmer Dara Marin received the Starter All-American Teen Award for Colorado and was featured in Sports Illustrated magazine.

Seattle Seahawk all-pro linebacker and former CU Buff Chad Brown, a resident of Lonetree, breeds and sells snakes and reptiles in his Littleton store, Pro Exotics. When Brown met his future wife Kristin at the University of Colorado, the first two things she told him were, "I don't date football players and I hate snakes."
